Anyway, this thread is primarily to keep track of all the mass shootings and suspected terrorist attacks in the US etc(and of course to have discussions on them).
EDIT: oh yeah, if you're gonna list other shit, then list the killings done by cops vs blacks in the US, because i think this is related to the 2 deaths/killings of those 2 black guys this week.
You can also list other countries if you want i guess.. however, apart from the US, i don't think any other country has mass shootings on a scale like this, and certainly not with such alarming regularity as this... and this is even comparing/comparable it to active warzones n shit!
Even Mexico with the cartels n shit probably don't have this many mass shootings, or at least not done by just one person etc, since it's done by the whole cartel, and it's usually against other cartels. But yeah. I guess you also have those incidents where they kidnap the whole school bus n shit, and killed them all since their family or the government didn't wanna pay the ransom or whatever..
Also, these are hardened gangsters/cartel members n shit. Trained 'SicarioS' who do that shit as a JOB, rather than just one lone deranged individual who was just a 'normal civilian'(who may or may not have had mental problems) minutes before opening fire etc..
I also think that they would basically label EVERY shooter as mentally disturbed if they did a mass shooting, same way that they say that everyone who kills themselves has some mental issues. Is it even possible for someone to do a mass shooting and/or kill themselves and be considered to be perfectly sane(or if not that, then at least to not be considered batshit crazy and/or to have mental issues?) and have NO mental issues whatsoever?
I think we need one of these threads, just to keep track of all of it going down lately. It seems like there's one every week now, instead of one every other week or one a month, as it used to be.. which was already bad enough. But now? It's just gone insane, and it still seems like no one has the balls to do anything about it(ie amending the 2nd amendment.. heh). Also, i think this thread is 'healthy' for me, since it is allowing me to speak my mind and feel like i'm doing SOMETHING at least, since it feels like the US isn't doing shit about it, and still won't do fuck all no matter how many mass shootings or killing there are..
But yeah. Just the fact that there's enough incidents to even make a thread like this should say it all.. :(
Ok, let's get this show on the road.
Dallas, Texas. Cops get shot at by snipers at protest/rally in support of Alton Sterling/Philando Castile being recently shot/executed by cops. 11 cops shot, 5 dead, 6 wounded. 8th of July, 2016 aka 8-7-16
Just titling it to make it easier to find specific incidents after this thread inevitably fills up and goes multiple pages and multiple shootings/attacks.. At the rate it's going, it seems like it's actually picking up steam and happening with more regularity than ever before, and with each passing incident where nothing happens in terms of gun control, then yeah. Of course we're gonna become more jaded/cynical, along with being completely desensitized and also conditioned to just accept it as the norm/status quo, and having had to resign yourself to accepting the fact that you can't do fuck all about it, and not only that.. they are actually not only not fighting against it(ie due to apathy), but they are actualyl fighting AGAINST any regulation and they want more people to HAVE gun! Then they have the balls to talk about mental issues and how that's the problem, rather than guns..... lmao. It seems like they don't even have common sense or understand how logic actually works if they think more guns = more safety = less deaths = better society = can fight vs corrupt/oppressive gov(with all their military equipment) if it ever came to it..
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016...s-fired-at-ra/ <--lots of videos and detailed timeline. read this one if you dunno anything about it at all, or even if you do know the basics, but want more details etc.
http://www.news.com.au/world/north-a...bf26ab259ff593 <--see this link for details on Mark Hughes, the man who was wrongly accused/suspected
But yeah. now that COPS are being targeted, let's see how they go. I would assume that most cops are AGAINST gun proliferation and the 2nd amendment etc, even if not in principle, then at least in reality and common sense wise, they should be since it makes their job 100x more dangerous.. and the only way they can handle this added danger would be to take no chances and just shoot first and ask questions later, which is what is going on right now.
I dunno what this latest shooting is about, but it seems like they specifically targeted cops, and cops ONLY?? Does anyone know anything yet about this shooting?
Maybe it's 'revenge' for all the people that cops have 'executed' recently.. along with the Arab dude from abu dhabi or whatever being tackled and shit just because he had some type of arab dress style going on.. i was waiting for something like this to happen, since yeah. Too many blacks n minorities have been getting killed recently.. and not just killed in the line of duty etc, but actually executed them when they weren't even resisting or fighting back..
Question for all US citizens. Is it worth it in the end? Does being able to own a gun counter all these mass shootings and the added risk/danger of dying by gunfire? And not just added risk to you, but added risk to all your friends/family. Or are you guys of the mentality that more guns = more safe? And that if everyone had a gun, society would be a safer place? Let me know if you're one of those people, this way i know who to ignore(since that person is obviously lacking common sense/logic and their opinion/position is clearly coming from a place of bias/selfishness(ie they just wanna be able to own a fucking gun, and don't give a fuck about anything else since they don't care if anyone comes for them, since they have a gun! and if anyone is a victim of a shooting, well, who cares, they also should of had a gun! they would of been alive had they had one!), rather than caring about others and making society safer as a whole..
But yeah. Guns didn't really help the cops in this situation, did it? They even thought that some other dude who had a gun on him was a suspect, and i'm surprised they didn't just shoot him dead first.. Lucky for him that his brother said some shit and handed the gun over(even though he was allowed to carry/conceal it or whatever).. see the news.com.au link above, and especially the bit i put in spoiler tags for more information about this bit. Now imagine if EVERYONE had a gun and were legally allowed to? How the fuck would the cops identify who's a good guy or bad guy, and if the cops can't, then how the fuck are people int he rally going to? It would be the PERFECT cover for the shooter, he would just blend in with everyone else, since not only does everyone else have guns, but if they actually use them like conservative gun advocates say they should(ie shoot to protect yourself and those around you without guns), then it would just be utter fucking chaos, and imo, the body count would be in the 100's and not just be limited to cops, and cops would also be shooting everyone, or at least they would be getting the fuck outta that chaotic situation and would leave those people tofend for themselves while they barricade themselves somewhere and take up a defensive position where they shoot anyone who's not a cop who crosses their defensive perimeter that they've set up..
So yeah.. like i said above, IF concealed carry n shit was actually a big thing and not just some opinion that 'extremist/fringe' gun nut would hold, AND if having a gun made everyone safer, including the gun carrier, AND if those guns are meant to protect you vs gov/police/army tyranny, then why did that guy just hand his gun over to the cops? See link below also for more detail concerning the wrongful allegation by the police.. he even got death threats already, along with his brother. Isn't this kind of irresponsible, to make it public when they dunno fuck all and he was shown to be innocent in the end? Was it just because he was carrying a gun? But i thought that everyone having a gun would = more safe? If they freaked the fuck out just over one black guy carrying a gun, imagine what they woulda thought or done had a whole group fo black dudes had AR-15's strapped to their backs? I'm wondering if any cops actually have this same opinion? IE that more civilians with guns = more safety and makes their job easier?? Perhaps what they actually mean by that is that it would make it easier for cops to just shoot first and ask questions later since they can't do that currently.. but if EVERYONE had a gun, they could just scream out "he's got a gun!", and that "he's reaching for his gun!" and just execute the dude with double tap to his head, evne when he's pinned on the ground and held their by TWO police officers already..? lol :(

And yeah.. do you guys think it would it of made a difference if he was WHITE(the dude that was wrongly accused and who was later exonerated), rather than black? I'm guessing no, since in this case, actual cops are/were being killed, and when cops actually get targeted, that's a completely different story.. They don't give a fuck and would come after you to the max, regardless of your skin color/past criminal history or anything else. They are just looking for blood/revenge after this..
If anyone has anything to add to this latest shooting(ie more information, like who the shooters were, what their motivations n shit are/were, what groups they were affiliated with, if any, etc etc), then please post. This latest shooting is quite the 'novelty' when it comes to shootings(or at least recently), since they don't usually target ONLY cops..
And yes, i do remember that shooting or whatever where the guy tried to get revenge on cops, but IIRC, he himself was a former cop or military or someshit. You guys remember that? He was on the run and i think they trapped him in some cabin which later burned down and i think he died in the fire or got shot when he came out.. and i remember in that incident, some soccer moms SUV got shot up because they thought it was the suspects car, even though it was the wrong model and WRONG COLOR even! lmao.
Like i said, if they are targeted and they actually wanna fuck you up, they will. They don't give a fuck about the general populace at that point and will just spray some car that even remotely makes you suspect it might be that guy..
Now imagine that wasn't a car, but was someones face or body since they looked like that other guy(or looked like them from the side/behind).. but yeah. In comparison, it would be like they just shot some guy up and turned him into Swiss cheese who they thought was the suspect(let's say the suspect was a white male), but in the end it turns out that the guy they shot was black, and was a female instead.. OOPS. I did it again.. lmao
But yeah. I gotta give that guy Mark Hughes or whatever props for his smart and FAST thinking/actions, since it probably saved his life.. since the cops did put out a tweet saying he was a suspect, and now imagine that every cop is armed to the teeth and they think that you've killed 5-10 of their own and would only be stopped with a bullet to the head(like no one is gonna think that the guy is gonna surrender and then get taken into custody quietly, and no one in the public would care either if he was turned into swiss cheese, let alone actual cops like i said). AFAIK, he turned his gun in straight up after the shooting started, and then also turned himself in when it came out that he was a suspect or a POI, since like i said, the police actually put out a request on twitter n shit for people to help identify/catch him..
And just for the fuck of it, here's one of the numerous reddit thread on it, or at least the biggest one with the most comments n shit that i can see.
