Just started yesterday, felt we could use a thread about it. I absolutely love the summer olympics and will probably be watching it 24-7 for the next month. Been watching cylcing/tennis/water polo/swimming today.

Things to watch out for?
-Track is gonna be awesome this year, both men and women. Looking forward to 100m, 1500m, 5k, 10k, and marathon the most, but lots of other good events especially in the field.
100m Usain v Gatlin v new guys
1500m Kriprop (kenya) v world. US has 2 strong guys this year so thats really fun
5k/10k can Mo Farah of GB do double golds again? Can Rupp get another medal for the US in races we haven't medaled in for decades
Marathon, always fun, Galen Rupp running his second marathon ever
-Swimming gonna be good. Phelps and Lochte got another olympics in them so that will be cool.
-Gymanistcs
-Table Tennis/Diving/Volley Ball/Crew/Basketball + a bunch of other fun stuff.
