This is a completely random thread, but the last time that I can recall playing a ladder game of Warcraft 3 was a 2vs2 match with Mez at some point in 2005. My accounts and icons have long since been deleted due to inactivity.
I randomly decided to make an account and play one game tonight to see if I could actually manage to win without any practice games in advance. Strictly playing off of memory. It wasn't pretty, and my reflexes in this game are fairly dreadful now, but I did win in the end. I don't plan to play any more games, but it was an interesting test to see what I could remember after 11 years of not playing ladder at all.
Replay (Low-skill, obviously)
For those who started playing this game a long, long time ago - and there must be some of you here besides Pat, because this forum is still reasonably active (which is great to see, by the way) - did you all move on to WoW, SC2, DotA/DotA 2, LoL, HoN or other games, or do you still play ladder games of The Frozen Throne occasionally or regularly? If you haven't played ladder for a really long time, try one game to see what you can remember.
It does seem like games are much harder to find now, and there were only about 900 total games ongoing on West when I searched tonight, but it's cool to see that TFT still exists so many years after we first created and developed this site around it.
