Decided to read through it again, and it seems not much has changed since like ww1 n shit.
Senate committee's still not knowing what's going on(or pretending not to, while being corrupt themselves), and young/poor still doing the majority of the dying while the rich oligarchs and select few 'war industries' profit, while the general public pays for it to the tune of 600+ billion a year. it's the biggest fucking racket going on today, and also one of the most disgusting filthy things i can basically imagine on this earth(brainwashing/teaching 'kids' to kill in cold blood.. you can call it what you want, but that's the basic gist of it all), up there with catholic church brainwashing people and systematically raping kids n shit
with that said, i know there's a lot of americans on here so before you get butthurt, i am only using the US to illustrate universal principles and universal disgust towards killing/war/military industrial complex, so of course it makes sense to talk about the biggest + baddest and number 1 military on the planet, no? -rolls eyes-
But yeah. I'm curious as to what you guys think, especially those like 8counts. Or you can't speak your mind on the topic in 'public' and have to self censor your own true feelings and can only speak it after you're 'retired' like this maj general butler?? He claims he only realized it after he retired to 'civil life', but we all know that's bullshit.. unless he was a sheltered idiot and only realized it after he retired at 70 or someshit? ;)
Then, incidentally, they announce maneuvers in the Pacific. For defense. Uh, huh.
The Pacific is a great big ocean. We have a tremendous coastline on the Pacific. Will the
maneuvers be off the coast, two or three hundred miles? Oh, no. The maneuvers will be two
thousand, yes, perhaps even thirty-five hundred miles, off the coast.
The Japanese, a proud people, of course will be pleased beyond expression to see the united
States fleet so close to Nippon's shores. Even as pleased as would be the residents of
California were they to dimly discern through the morning mist, the Japanese fleet playing at
war games off Los Angeles.
Oh how times have changed. He was trying to be sarcastic most likely, but the Japanese ARE kind of happy to have the US sailing in the SCS n shit.. but yeah. Change Japan to China and it still holds true.
Might aswell throw Eisenhowers speech here too

TLDR: I wanna know what you guys from the US think and if you guys even want to change the current status quo or if you actually support US expansionist foreign policy and playing world police and having more of the budget go towards military etc. I'm sure you guys know where i stand, but yeah. That's not coming from the lens of US nationalist/patriot, and i also don't think that the US or even those of us in the 'west' or the '5 eyes' countries are somehow better than those anywhere else in this world.
I'm curious to see what you all think. If you were responsible for the US military(including drafting, EVERYTHING) and it's foreign policy, what moves would you make?
