Fillon and Macron are seen as centrists while Le Pen and Melenchon are seen as hard right and hard left candidates, respectively.
It seems that the latter two candidates have a real shot at winning. Interestingly, these are two anti-EU candidates, and a victory for either of them could result in a Frexit, and consequently the collapse of the EU.
