The UK Championships have been very interesting this year. I am watching the beginning of yesterday's semi-finals right now, and this isn't spoiling anything, but both Ronnie and Ford are playing good games so far. Watching Ronnie play now is like watching Jordan or Gretzky... they may not always win, but it's impossible to miss the greatness. The number of night I have lost to watching Ronnie O'Sullivan highlights and matches has probably taken a few days off my life expectancy.
The quality of the production is superb, too. There is just the right amount of commentary and a nice balance of fun and informative. I am not sure how they accomplish it, but they've made the coloration incredibly interesting. That's a tall order when we're essentially staring at the same shot for most of the broadcast. Alex, if you've caught any of it, what's your take?
