Adult star August Ames committed suicide :(

Honestly this is the saddest news I've received in 2017. A beautiful young lady just committed suicide. She was suffering from long term depression and the gay twitter bullies tipped her over the edge because she refused to shoot scenes with HIV infested gays.

Another victim of social justice warriors.

Rest in peace.

The Shire in the Lord of the Rings is the equivalent of Nazi Germany

The Shire is a homogeneous idyllic utopia of petite-bourgeois smallholders(basically, a classic European fascist fantasy), and it has allied with the various representatives of the Middle-earth ancient landed aristocracy, like the royal house of Gondor and Arnor represented by Aragorn, the leading aristocratic family of Gondor represented by Boromir, the Elvish royalty represented by Legolas, the Dwarfish aristocracy represented by Gimli, the obscurantist clerical/priestly class represented by Gandalf, and other reactionary relics of the premodern world. All gathered to eradicate Lord Sauron's forces that represent urbanisation, industry, scientific progress, and the proletariat. LoTR is essentially WWII retold from the perspective of fascists, but the fascists win.

So yes, in LoTR terms, The Shire is the equivalent of Nazi Germany.

Overpopulation

7 years ago, someone told me this isn't an issue because "everyone on Earth can fit on landmass the size of Texas."

So I take it they want everyone to live like caged animals? ROFL.

Have these people even been to Hong Kong or Jakarta? I sure as fuck would never settle in places like those. If you want to, be my guest.

Then when I called the person (and people like him) out for this gibberish, he replied "Well, it's not overpopulation, but resource consumption."

Ok, good luck with fixing that. :D Back in the 1970s, Carter told American people to stop using as much electricity, and to "wear a sweater during winter" instead of jacking up the thermostat. Even such mild suggestions (which don't even come close to what needs to be done) infuriated the sheep.

Back in reality:

Kyoto failed.

It's just eyewash for the masses to think "going green" and "corporate social responsibility" is somehow working. Anyone who can't see it for what it is (propaganda) is too stupid to reason with.

So now those retarded statements are out of the way, can anyone on WcR give me an actual reason/use sound logic to prove this is a non-issue? Did Elon Musk's cum mesmerize everyone into thinking tech will create some futuristic utopia where fossil fuels are obsolete?

Now MY theory for the pro-natalist (or at least anti-antinatalist) crowd's motives is that they desperately need to shore up the tax base to ensure government-funded retirement accounts stay solvent. But we already know there are trillions in unfunded liabilities in the US only (to say nothing of countries like Italy that are close to default.)

My guess is that the oligarchy will continue using financial engineering to transfer assets/wealth from the poor and currently working to the rich, parasitic, and retired. That's essentially what they have been doing since 2008 (it's been going on for longer, but since the crisis they feel they no longer need to "hide" their agenda from plain sight because ordinary people will take it up the ass).

Is there still some kind of IRC channel or Slack channel where WCR members gather to chat? I think I would prefer that to the forums these days, for the faster feedback. No, I didn't read the forum rules or anything before making this post (and I don't care, thx).

This is getting ridiculous guys. Nobody wants to talk about 'those people', but you know exactly who the hell they are. They keep coming into our country and committing violent acts to send us a message. Well I'm fucking sick and tired of it. Go listen to your damn CNN if you want more of that apologist bullshit.

Nakatomi Plaza is now under lockdown with a hostage situation. Dozens, possibly hundreds of hostages have been taken. There are police, fbi, etc surrounding the buildings trying to work out the situation. It's going to take a Christmas miracle to have any survivors.

Although I heard they got a man inside trying to 'negotiate'.

Who has bought one and would you recommend it to others?

Currently thinking about buying one but what keeps me from doing so is the low number of games released. I don't want to make an impulse purchase and regret it later.

The FBI and Federal Law Enforcement Efficiency

To start, I would like to say that this has nothing to do with Trump, Russia allegations, Hillary's emails, or any of that current political crap going on. I know, bad timing for it to not be, right?

Long before Trump became president, I had a few run-ins with the FBI and DHS personnel. What I learned is that there really aren't many intelligent hires within them. Unfortunately, the USG (united states government) has a policy when they purchase things or hire people. They must meet the minimum requirement (unfortunately there aren't many education requirements) and accept the least pay (similar to a lowest-bidder contract) for a position. What this creates is a system where people who are barely, if that, qualified to do a job end up in that position.

We have to get a few things out of the way. Number 1, the government doesn't proactively hire geniuses. How could they? You are competing with private corporations that offer more money and better training, as well as actual research positions that put those good minds to good uses. This is assuming that, in general, smart people want to do good for humanity in research positions and helping society as a whole.

Number 2... the federal level law enforcement has seen routine failures before and after 9/11. It took them 17 years to find the UNABOMBer, and, obviously, they failed to prevent 9/11. Since then, they've gained massive powers at the expense of our freedom (patriot act... NSA spying and FBI spying on American citizens) and still cannot prevent terrorist attacks like san bernardino, orlando, (inb4 omg u only care about muslims) las vegas, the texas church shooter, NYC truck attack, boston bombers, and I'm sure there are more that are not listed here.

So why does the FBI fail so much and so hard?

Hey all. I wanted to do a shameless self plug and let you guys know I've recently started streaming wc3 on twitch. It's been years since I've actively played wc3 so I'm pretty rusty, but feel free to stop on by and check out some night elf games.

twitch.tv/ark_rs

For people that don't know me, I was a USA night elf player that played for various teams in many leagues/tournaments. I certainly wasn't the best, but I played competitively with a lot of the top players back in wc3's prime. Off the top of my head I played with the following teams back in the day: FoH, tZ, TeG, EnVy, OwNu, cGz, KoC, and aG

Social effects of long term internet usage in language (non educational kind)

How has the internet affected your social life in terms of language?

I feel like the creativity and, just as often, the stupidity of the internet has long-lasting effects on our language and how we use it. New social media platforms commonly spread language change, often echoing pop culture, modern music, and television. Mostly, I'm talking about memes.

I now occasionally use words like intredasting, mansplaining, the term 'social justice warrior', calling people gaycist (in place of homophobia, a play on the word racist), and more. How has it affected you?

Current status of US healthcare racketeering

$

I've put some thought into US healthcare practices, and when I ask other people about what they think of the healthcare problem, most don't realize there is one (usually kids on their parents plan) or default to blaming the insurance companies. Blaming insurance companies for rising premiums has become a cliche, so much so that it blinds us to the true culprits of medicine. The practitioners themselves. That's right. I want to hold doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals directly accountable here.

When we look at the cost of healthcare, we have to examine the need for health insurance in the first place. Why do you have health insurance? The reason is because if you did not, you could never afford your medical bills. That statement alone should tell you something.

Healthcare is too damn expensive for most of the population to pay out of pocket. (Go ahead and try to argue with me on this one)

Why is it so expensive though? Truth be told, doctor salaries and profit. Private practice doctors, which comprise of doctors that are not employed by hospitals, the US government, or other forms of employment, instead work for themselves (or in partnerships). They typically bill their clients directly. The entire basis of healthcare being expensive, however, is that for doctors to get paid people must be ill or injured. This, quite literally, is profiting off of people's physical suffering.

I'm not trying to convince you that doctors should not get paid. What I am saying is that doctors are overpaid. Way overpaid. Doctor salaries in America are higher, even when adjusted for purchasing power for each country.

https://economix.blogs.nytimes.com/2...ountries-make/

(As a side question, do you guys consider NYT to be fake news?)

Now this is the hard part to explain. Try to open your mind to this concept. The most common defense for high salaries is their immense school costs. True. Schooling for medical professionals is insanely expensive these days. Medical school tuition, books, equipment, etc can run upwards of $60,000 per year. One thing people don't look at though, is why a doctor in America has to have a Bachelors degree before he gets his medical degree. Doesn't make sense, does it? In almost every other country in the entire world you can go straight from high school to medical school.

https://www.usnews.com/education/bes...fers-tradeoffs

You could get a degree in literally ANY subject on this earth for your undergraduate. ANYTHING. Even art. That alone tells me that the bachelors degree, by default, is arbitrary. Many schools go on to require 1 year in English, 1 year in Math, and 1 years worth of classes in Biology.

We are talking about 3 subjects. You could take these 3 subjects (6 classes in total), and easily do them in 2 semesters, thus completing the 1 year requirement. So then, what is the point of the other 3 years?

I'll add the conspiracy part later just to see if anyone has even read this first bit.

Mental Illness and Having Kids

$

Curious as to what WCR's thoughts are on this. This has been on my mind for a while now. Mental illness has been prevalent on both sides of my parents. Me, my parents and my parents' parents have dealt with it.

I've suffered a lot throughout the years. I've learned how to manage it, but life can get pretty stressful at times and can make things flare up. Regardless, I'm still here and kickin and still enjoy living. But I know I'd feel really guilty if my kid was getting depressed in high school or dealing with bad anxiety. At the same time, being alive is like the craziest fucking thing ever.

I know some of you are already parents. Thoughts?

Hey guys, don't know how many of you remember me. How have you been?

I've been making indie games!

My new game is  ROGUEMANCE , it's a roguelite with romance. You meet partners and fight enemies by your lover's side.

It has a cool battle system and I think some of you might like it.

Anyway, you can buy it on Steam here!

See here: https://www.reddit.com/r/WC3/comment..._the_usa_soon/

Hawk and Happy have said they have been invited to the US and registered for Visas on stream. They can't say why, but an announcement is to be made.

Sounds like Wc3 remaster to me. They probably invited pros to play a few games to show off the new graphics and such.
