4 people dead so far, 20+ injured. Some ice/meth head(most likely) drove down a busy pedestrian/tram only 'mallway' in the city.
Like right in front of the iconic flinders stations, and there was a fucken cop shop right there too and this guy was doing burnout/donuts/laps right in the busiest intersection in the city.. then obviously the cops came for him and he drove off, and that's when he turned into that busy mall st(think Times Square in NYC, or Vegas Strip etc, that's how iconic and packed it is).
I initially thought it was some terrorist attack and that this was the first islamic terror attack in melb, but looks like just some dumb bogan cunt that was iced up or someshit, since earlier in the morning(2am AEST time) he had already stabbed his brother and then he carjacked some bitches car and that's the car he used to taunt the cops into chasing him and the car he used to plow 24+ people.. one dead includes an infant in a pram.. witnesses said cunts were flying in the air from the impact n shit..

That guy in the baseball bat shoulda fucked him up, dunno where that dude came from but yeah. Props to him for taking a stand, but yeah. He prob woulda got ran over too, unless he was gonna throw the bat at/through the window
And like i said, there's a copshop right at flinders station, so he was obviously taunting cops and shit, and you can see a lot of cops on the street too. But yeah. US cops woulda probably shot him straight up, but yeah. That was a very busy place, like one of the busiest in the city, and stray bullet woulda been too big of a risk probably, and even if they shot his tires out, he probably wouldn't of stopped, so it's like a no win situation for the cops.
Looks like the SOG boys came and opened up on his car with what looks like automatic rifle(m4 or someshit? not sure, maybe AUG since i remember they like their AUGS), and he's currently in custody and ALIVE. Like i said, in the US he would be dead as fuck already..
Really proud of the police response, it didn't seem like it took long for the undercover special operations group cars to show up and 'engage' this fucknut, but yeah. Maybe in hindsight that was what led to him turning into bourke st mall(where he ended up doing the damage i stated above), otherwise maybe he woulda just taunted the cops and then driven off somewhere..
But seriously. If you're upset at the system and/or the gov, then take it out on the fucken system/gov, rather than 'innocent' people. I don't care what anyone says, but i doubt a baby in a pram has ANY guilt whatsoever, because even if they are like anti-capitalist or anti-western, no matter what ethnicity or nationality, if you kill infants then you're a fucken scumbag who's going to hell no matter what god/faith you hold..
And i hate to say it, but i kinda had a feeling that someone would target that specific mall/spot, because yeah. Normally cars can't go there and so there's lots of shoppers/people on the street, and perhaps you're wondering why it wasn't blocked off after France n shit etc. The reason why is because we have TRAMS in melbourne, and trams ARE allowed to go down that street, and so they cannot block it off since if a tram can get in, obviously a car/sedan can get in..
