My thoughts on the future of the world(in 10-20 years time), what are yours?

^^(in generalized terms).

While you guys may know me as cynical n shit, i kind of have had a change of heart as of late, even with all the fucked up shit that happened in 2016 and even including Trump being elected and most likely will be re-elected if the trends from the two decades etc hold up.. along with other shit like incumbents being favored in our respective systems(ie they can call general election whenever they want so they have the advantage in that way for instance, not sure this applies to every country or even the US, but even Clinton/Bush/Obama all got two terms, so if any of you yanks wanna argue against this point, be my guest :) ).

Anyhow, yeah. This was what i was thinking. I've long held the belief that it will be the internet and education that will 'save us all' from 'everything', and while it was looking pretty rocky at the start during the Bush years(ie patriot act/net neutrality and all that), it seems like we've past the worst times(or at least so far, who knows, there might be another 9/11 false flag shit where they will use that to crack down on the net and freedom of speech/press, but i don't think that will happen easily, and if it does, i think there will be a full blown pitchfork style revolution on the streets, and that's IF that doesn't happen during the next 8 Trump years even without cracking down on the net lol).

So continuing on from that. I also see shit like Buzzfeed(and i mention them specifically because they promote hardcore left leaning views, promoting shit like gender equality and LGBTQ issues that even make me think they are going too far, but i'm also glad they are going that far because it balances out those who resist, and in the end when they settle in the middle, that will be where i think it should be.. see my sig for more info on the concept, or at least my interpretation of it ;) ) and YT getting more and more views(and more social/political relevance, and thus representing the social shift from network/cable tv to a more democratic and WORLDWIDE INCLUSIVE media), and they(buzzfeed/YT etc) are promoting more and more 'liberal' and 'left leaning' views, and with shit like facebook(and Zuckerbergs politics/positions/money/power), and even shit like Bill Gates(pretty much a liberal progressive kinda dude, look at all the good he has used his money/foundation for), and yeah. I have hope for the world, and i think it's inevitable still that the net will educate everyone and as more and more of the baby boomer generation die out and more and more of the facebook zuckerberg generation and more and more of the elon musk generation take positions of power and get the respect and props they deserve, then yeah. The world will have to get better.

Even though Trump won, i don't really think the world is actually liking the GOP's platform or anything they actually stand for. They/Trump won basically because people didn't like the status quo, and CLinton was representing that hard like a lost/dumb bitch. Sanders woulda destroyed him if he got the nomination, the candidate that always runs on 'change' and shit will always win imho.. even if they lie about it like Trump most likely did. In hindsight, it's easy to understand why people voted for Trump, because i personally wouldn't of voted for Clinton, and i woulda gone for Stein myself, and i'm guessing in a 2 party/person preferred choice between Clinton/Trump, i probably woulda picked Trump too since Clinton represented EVERYTHING that was wrong with the system/status quo and there was 0% hope for change under her rule.. at least with Trump, even though he will most likely make shit worse, he could also make shit better(even if 0.1% chance), so at least with Trump there's HOPE, and HOPE goes a long way. People were desperate and Trump lied his way and said he'll bring jobs back to US from China even though it's bullshit, he will save the coal/fossil fuel industry even though it's inevitability that it will disappear sooner or later, etc etc.

But yeah. Like i said, i think in 20 years time, it will be a completely different world. Think about it. Weed will be completely legal in the US(and most likely all US/western developed/allied countries etc), and basically all the politicians will have grown up and understand the internet, unlike currently. All the dumbfuck baby boomer generation who don't understand/use the internet will be gone from the positions of power, and hopefully we will have smart people like Zuckerberg and Elon Musk style types in power. You know, intelligent/rational/engineer type of people.. pandering to intelligence rather than ignorance since all of their constituents can and WILL easily be able to check and find out the true from the bullshit, because like i said, they have the net and they know how to use it, and not just know, but they WILL USE IT BECAUSE THEY USE IT EVERYDAY IN THEIR DAILY LIVES and because it will be a basic 'human right' and it will be assigned full common carrier status and be even more protected in the future than it is now.

Also think that the old copyright systems will be all gone, because that's the future i predict also after more and more countries come online and more and more won't give a fuck about US copyright stance because the US will lose more and more international relevance/power as China rises and doesn't give a fuck about IP or copyright as the US currently does.. remember how back in the day music companies cared about mp3 and tried to sue people for DLing it? Now look at it. No more of that shit, and it's gonna be the same and inevitable for movies and other digital media. And when i say other, i mean ALL. We are no longer living in an age of scarcity when it comes to digital media, so why do we need to live like there is? Hint: we don't, and the only ones who want us to remain living like this are those select few dinosaurs who are making money off their artificial state granted monopolies due to bullshit lobbying from corrupt corporations like Disney.

I could say a lot more about everything, like on space especially since by 2020~ the ISS will be GONERS, and the only space station will be a CHINESE ONE, along with China/Russia being the only countries to be able to send men into space, along with the decline of the US economy due to Trump and decline of US dominance in space exploration/development, ie i think China or China led international team(possibly minus the US if they are petty and return the favour the US has done to it by barring them from collaborating with NASA and the ISS), even now will be the ones to build a moon base.

But yeah. i'll let you guys get a word in before i continue heh. I can't wait for the day that those in power have grown up and used the net everyday of their lives.

I am optimistic guys. But of course, we could go full on orwellian state during Trump since the tech exists and we're already doing that shit.. but if that doesn't happen(if it does, then like i said, it's time for pitchforks on the street and i'm almost 100% sure that will happen too, and it will only get more likely as more and more people grow up with the net.. time is on OUR SIDE GUYS, not on the fossil fuel/net ignorant dinosaurs side), then yeah. I think my 'predictions' above should be inevitable rather than just mere possibility or a long shot etc..

Your thoughts?
