Lets have a new thread to discuss and keep track of the 2020 Democratic primaries.

What would be your ideal setting or location for retirement?

One thing we WCR-ians have to admit to ourselves judging by the quality discussions led on this board and the vast exchange of extreme intelligence on display here is that we really shouldn't be "working" in the standard sense of the word, but should rather be either receiving constant financial tribute and just engage ourselves in observation and discussion of the masses and ideas and events and phenomenons, just enjoying the art and the show that humans have to offer, or should have already retired ourselves somewhere nice and comfy in complete accordance with our requirements, needs and desires.

What would be your ideal setting, with some explanation of, for example, what/who you'll need, etc?

Asmr

I made an asmr thread years ago but it was before it blew up and was still "weird" n creepy n shit.

I'm curious if anyone is willing to admit they watch it now that it's basically already mainstream, kardi b did one and it has like 15 million views, she admits to being an asmr daily viewer(I'm not even, I watch once a week maybe lol). She's also decent and knows what asmr is about.

I had a thought the other night that it was basically equivalent to the movie "her", how he goes to sleep and he talks to an AI etc. it's basically the same as asmr, it's digital audio that makes you feel better mentally and/or helps you relax or sleep or even feel "loving" sensations(yes I was watching ppomo smothering me with digital kisses and other shit ;) and if you guys know who I'm talkin about, she just revealed her face recently, although not exactly sure how long ago since I checked her channel last night and saw her face).

But yeah. I was thinking that when VR or augmented reality is better, asmr artists can even start charging people for live action trigger requests, it would be sick..

When such technology comes out, im gonna be laughing hard at those monogamous relationship married people, since we'll all be about free love and independence and enlightened n shit, while they will be stuck keeping a promise made because a two thousand year old book about an imaginary being in the sky told them to(or was the root of all the shit that led to their current thinking), while at the same time drooling about the tech/social revolution that they cannot take part in.

Also imagine leaving such recordings for your partner or whatever, so they can always access "you" even if you're not there, and especially after they've passed away, or even just to see or remember how they were at that age in life, since after they might get far or ugly or change personality, since everything changes. This allows us to keep a snapshot of the moment, and basically allow us to access it and replay this scene in our life over and over.. will be interesting how this will affect us mentally..

The future can't come soon enough, because the current day west sucks. I'm putting my hopes on china to take tech to the next level(which is most likely just using existing tech but in a smart way and getting rid of all the red tape). China doesn't have religion or political problem every other country has, while USA can't even admit basic science or climate change, they are basically finished tech wise. They peaked back in the 50/60s and with manned mission and kennedys speech and carl Sagan etc. but I digress. Just had a cone, forgive my anti us tangent.

Anyway back on topic.

The best asmr artists on YT is probably asmr zeitgeist(gay guy but he's pro and he doesn't do whisper type sexual shit, it's all SFW stuff afaik).

Then I have my cutesy Asian female fetish material, like ppomo(Korean pro, not just pretty face but pro asmr artist) and Dana asmr(Korean too, she knows English so language barrier isn't as bad as ppomo).

I also like sensor(adi) or however you spell his name. He's a pro at editing and creative triggers, his echo/reverb effects are insane, those videos of his hits me hard.

Teaching/educating children or next generation/parenthood etc

So, iirc, bluedot is uni lecturer, and many others here also have children of their own, so let's get this thread going, since most if not all of us probably plan on having children one day, and its better to be knowledgable and safe than ignorant and sorry.

So yeah. Just curious what age you guys think is the best age to have "the talk" with kids? Like i don't mean the birds and the bees talk, but a more in depth discussion about philosophy and motivations in life n shit.

Like just say you teach them not to talk to strangers, with the reasoning of "they are bad people". When is a good age to teach them to be able to tell for themselves if a person is good or bad based on what they say/do etc?

I want to teach my kids to analyse and be critical of everyone and everything, ie basically to have critical thinking skills and be able to analyse and learn something themselves, even if they aren't taught by anyone. Basically I want them to be able to teach/learn themselves through their own research and critical thinking skills as early as possible, and what are the possible risks of educating them about the wicked ways and truths of the world?

If I teach them how to use computer and surf internet at say 8 years old; is that too young for me to let him run free on the internet and explain everything to him truthfully without any lies or censorship? If he wants to look at gore or pron, I will let him. I'll watch over him or course and monitor him, but I will let him do what he wants and let him go where ever his interests lie. I'll just put disclaimers and do explanations afterwards.

I will obviously have to teach him how to suss out fake news, emotional propaganda manipulation, how to sort out good/useful information from the 99% of agenda driven trash online, teach him all the logical fallacies and all that shiznit since like I said I just want to give him the most basic tools and let him learn himself asap.

Another dilemma is whether or not you should even educate your kids properly, because ignorance IS BLISS, and as parents, shouldn't we let kids keep their dumb innocence and enjoy childhood? Following that same logic, why shouldn't we also be dumb and enjoy our adult lives? If kids are "damaged" by knowledge of the world, then why aren't we adults also damaged? If kids are better off ignorant and not knowing, then why aren't we also?

So yeah. Is it even a good idea to teach your kids the honest truths, or would it be better to let them discover how fucked up adulthood and the world is on their own? But then isn't that also failing to properly teach and prepare your kids sufficiently to face the world as an adult later?

I guess there's no right or wrong, but if you guys know of some studies that backs up shit like "will damage kids if you take away their naive ignorant innocence" at too young an age?

What do you guys think? Is it damaging to kids to teach them the truths of the world too early? Or would having such knowledge at younger age allow them to navigate adulthood/life better later on?

Anyone read up or knowledgable about young child development? Or how diff shit affects their brain or anything like that by doing diff shit?

Would I "damage" my kid if I taught him religion is all bullshit from as young as he can even comprehend what god or religion means? Like in the same way that Father Christmas or all that shit is fake? I will probably not care about white lies like Father Christmas, but it's religious indoctrination and making them have lifelong fear/trauma of made up shit like hell or vengeful crazy god etc that I care about and will tell the truth about, and teach them proper morals rather than just scaring them into it with religious lies/threats.

Cardinal Pell(Catholic Church number 2/3 in rank) found guilty of multiple child rape

The headline says found guilty of "child sexual assault", but that's bullshit spin when you read the actual article..

A jury delivered the unanimous verdict on 11 December in Melbourne?s county court, but the result was subject to a suppression order and could not be reported until now.

A previous trial on the same five charges, which began in August, resulted in a hung jury, leading to a retrial.

Pell, who is on leave from his role in Rome as Vatican treasurer, was found guilty of sexually penetrating a child under the age of 16 as well as four charges of an indecent act with a child under the age of 16.The offences occurred in December 1996 and early 1997 at St Patrick?s Cathedral, months after Pell was inaugurated as archbishop of Melbourne.

So sexually penetrated a child and 4 other counts of "indecent act", which I'm guessing could be anything as long as it doesn't include penetration. So maybe like making them toss him off or suck him off or he sucked them off. You know, "indecent acts".

The fact that Francis protected him speaks for itself. Francis also protected and defended his friend in Argentina too, and cardinal pell also protected his own roomate, who has also been convicted of muitple child rape too, but years ago. At the time pell was still acting innocent and claiming he didn't cover up or neglect his duties to report etc, and now we know he was also a 5 time child rapist. Disgusting criminal organisation, should be dismantled and most of them in jail.

So the whole church is basically one big pedo ring and protection organisation for pedophile rapists. But yet no one sanction or punishes the Vatican which is an actual state. Why not? Bullshit hypocrisy, which is why I support China's stance against religion/cults etc. if anything scientologists probably don't even rape kids like this.

Quote:

Pope Francis has yet to publicly react to this verdict, as he had previously hailed Pell for "his honesty and response to child sexual abuse"
They just had a massive meet to talk some more about the child abuse scandal the church has been going through a few days ago, with more bullshit and self congratulatory back patting. It will be interesting to see how Francis spin this, or if he even comes out against his former best friend/peer, just like he protected his Argentinian rapist cardinal childhood friend. Basically the same as pell protecting his room mate convicted rapist. Would anyone be surprised when Francis also gets busted? Ratzinger and John Paul 2 also raped children I've heard(look it up, people have been saying this shit for decades now).

Remember sinead o Connor when she tore up john Paul photo and criticised him and church for being pedos and she got crucified for it? Well turns out she was right, and we all owe her an apology. Especially mainstream media.

Using the internet to save and/or enhance modern day democracy

So let me rant for a bit here. I've been mulling this idea over for years now(quietly, as in it's always been in my head as something I need to do since no one else has tried it yet it seems?)

First, the base concepts. Let me explain a few things before I move onto my idea. The paradoxical concept that those in power are usually those who don't deserve power, and they are usually self serving psycho/sociopaths who of course will lie and do anything to get power, and once they do get in power they have nothing to force them to keep their campaign promises. Also, in this day and age, it feels like a waste to not use Internet and make our democracies more direct democracies.

Anyway, since the internet is borderless, but political systems are based on the concept of borders and sovereignty etc, this is also paradox that needs to be resolved sooner or later. We have USA, the biggest election meddler in the whole world. And I don't just mean USA state, but the oligarchy class in USA, ie the real rulers who control the politicians. Like Murdoch, Soros, bezos, trump, musk, Koch bros, and every other rich billionaire putting their money to use to influence elections and politics etc. they currently own the mainstream media and everything else, so internet and us normal plebs coming together is the only way we can combat this. I don't like them being able to have more say in democracy just because they have more money, that's fucked up since they are so out of touch with those in need the most.

They try to divide and conquer the masses, and using their fortunes to win every battle vs single individuals who cannot defend against such deep pockets and influence.

So I was thinking the only way we can counter the iron law of oligarchy is to use the internet and pool all our resources and efforts, and into just ONE SINGLE ISSUE at a time, and bribe who we need to etc, just like lobbyists do. We have to admit the reality of the situation, which is money talks and politicians work for money and to keep their jobs.

Why single issue? So there's no partisanship, and those in power cannot use us vs them tactics to distract and then divide and conquer us. If you support this single policy or issue, then donate. No one should give a fuck what party they are. Like if 99% of Americans are against war in reality and they donate, we can pool all our resources and make anti X politician ads when he's coming up to campaign or something, or we could hire private detectives to always follow him and try to catch him doing fucked up shit etc etc, make his life living hell. The possibilities are endless. We could go after everyone who goes against the masses so he can take 100,000 from some billionaire. Politicians sell out pretty cheaply, it wouldn't be hard at all.

So yeah. I was thinking of making some Web 2.0 site maybe similar to those crowdsourcing business project websites? But instead of private business to make an item to sell etc, this is purely non profit to empower people and democracies and to combat the iron law of oligarchy, and mainly USA system right now since USA is the one who really needs it with citizens united.

Like someone can create a thread e begging people to join his cause and donate to it, and not just monetarily but also volunteer work and everything it would need to make that specific policy change.

Also, this will be a good way to really see how many people support such policy and is willing to put their money and time where their mouth is. If it's not popular and has no support, then you will also know and don't have to waste your time for no reason and can instead focus on the issue or policy that gains traction etc.

So yeah, what do you think? The real exciting part though? Internet is global. This will allow foreign money to be sent to candidates like Bernie sanders and to bring USA in like with the rest of the world aka health care. It's already being done, and foreign govs like Saudi Arabia can buy trump and his family, so why the fuck shouldn't normal Americans or normal people from other countries do it too?

Is this going to be a billionaires world and oligarchy, or what? China has their own system but unless we combat this in the west, we're gonna be fucked and our govs are always gonna keep pandering and working for the corporations and only chasing $$$. Imo western democracies aren't responsive at all. I'd argue that China's gov is more worried and does more to keep Chinese people happy and keep improving all their lives, especially those at the bottom. China fears numbers and the people, USA politicians don't, and I don't blame them.

I know this is all over the place but that should give you an idea of my ideas. If you have any ideas which could contribute to this let me know. It's still a work in progress, but yeah. If anyone likes what they hear and wants to help, let me know.

What would be the best format for this? Trying to think of how to set up the power structure/hierarchy so it's fair and effective. Also no scammers and all that shit too of course and have to have a group function that allows them to build own group, maybe something like reddit social media and they can create groups and mod themselves(and mods will look after donations, all members can discuss and vote for what they wanna use the war chest on, or the creators/mods can specificy the action they are gonna take with the money before oeoooe pledge donations.. and if you don't like that mod you can of course out them, they won't last long in this social media age).

If you wanna steal my idea and do it yourself, more power to you. The sooner the better. Dunno why no one has done anything like this yet, internet and direct democracies go hand in hand..

I don't care about faction. I'll play warrior, prefer alliance but am not locked in to it.

It could be fun to start from the beginning with what limited time we can spare and just run some stuff.

Anyway, if you think that sounds fun, sign up I guess, and we can get the ball rolling.

Where do you get your news + what's your most/least trusted news sources?

In this day of fake news and hyper partisanship and late stage propaganda(remember; propaganda is not necessarily fake news or inherently false/untrue, and in fact the best and most effective propaganda is true), I'm just curious as to what everyone's political leanings are, and not based on self labels, but based on sites you frequent/trust or media you consume and who thinks what is trustworthy or garbage etc.

Maybe just list 3 you think is good(and maybe give reasons and/or one example for context since one persons trash might be anothers treasure, and I don't wanna be biased even though I lean progressive as most probably knows), and also try list 3 of the worst that are also as big and influential as they are garbage(in your mind, and also give reason or one example for context).

Also in this day and age of individual commentators/social media/podcast etc etc, do the same as above(3 good 3 bad), but for individuals. Example, like milo, Shapiro, Peterson, Harris, Rogan etc etc. who do you respect and who is a hack?

Or even list ones you think is garbage, but you frequently it anyway just to see what others views are to certain topics or to see how they spin it etc, since smart people will educate themselves on common talking points and use it to debate vs themselves so they are prepared for any future debates vs people from that side. Basically spying on the "other side" if you want to see it like that, but I'd rather see it just as different opinion and we're all on the same side, humanities side. Like I disagree with my parents on heaps of shit but we're "on the same side". I don't see why we can't think of everyone like that, even political opposites, which my parents are lol.

If you don't use any one site and use aggregates(like reddit, or even talk shows on YouTube who report on stories from all sides, like they use fox/wapo articles, whatever etc) say it too but I'm sure you also have your opinions on what is good and what is garbage etc, like you see some link on reddit and you know it's good or you know it's rubbish and just clickbait and just scroll past it

This should be interesting, and also hopefully helpful to find new/different/good sources and to know what to stay away from.

I will post mine last as to not affect or bias this thread. I wish there was some function that doesn't let people view others posts/lists until they post their own so there's no inevitable echo chamber shit since even though i don't care what others think, Imo most people do.

One thing I will say though to start things off.

And that is that Colbert is now an establishment hack(or rather he has been for as long as he has been host of late show). Of the biggest kind. I think maybe even Tucker Carlson has more credibility and freedom than him now lmao.or at least from the few clips of what I've seen of tucker, he at least can say shit that goes against his network/party/demographic, while I haven't seen colbert do it even once..

If you see his recent interview with Tulsi Gabbard, you'll see why instantly. But that's just one of many many things he's done since taking over late show to make me 100% sure he's a sold out hack now.

Ok go! This should be fun, interesting and hopefully informative at the same time.

Slide towards Brave new world/1984 in the west

Since WPA seemed to disagree with my opinion that china and USA/west are moving closer towards parity when it comes to mass surveillance and censorship etc, I'll post some links to back up my point and explain what I'm talking about.

See the recent New Zealand shooting? All websites basically banned and censored the video. Reddit shutdown a fuckton of subreddits purely so they aren't seen as promoting "extremist views", and everyone is basically self censoring opinions they had just because of 50 people dying.

Isn't free speech supposed to protect the worst of the worst? Why censor reality? Are we going to trade liberty and free speech for security? Like censoring the video and other unpopular views? How is this any different to china? It's only gonna get worse in the west with all the fake news shit and paid trolls and propaganda/misinformation campaigns. We went into wars due to false lies and propaganda, of course we need to control this shit or else anyone with nefarious think tank groups can just put some study out and then the govs who created those think tanks can just use that to justify whatever they want to do, like invasions and wars or sanctions which fuck over whole countries.

It's a complex topic, and I don't think there's any easy answers. The best action(just like best gov) would probably be an educated benevolent group in charge running the show, since I don't think democratic tools like reputation systems or voting can handle it properly, it's too easy to influence mass public and get knee jerk reactions which then spin out of control.

Like in china they censor even pro china shit since they don't want the people going to burn down USA or Japanese embassies or companies n shit when something bad happens, like USA bombing Chinese embassy in Belgrade by "accident" or when china Japan has falling out due to territorial issues like diaoyu/senkakku island dispute. It's not worth going to war with Japan or ruining sino-jap relations due to some rocks in the sea, same as Taiwan even. China can take them by force anytime they want, no one could do anything, even USA unless they want USA to be radioactive wasteland and also plunge the world into nuclear winter.

But I digress. Here

https://www.thenewamerican.com/world...deadly-attacks

https://www.politico.com/magazine/st...-videos-225822
It's not just NZ but also Aus and not just gov/laws, but websites like reddit and Facebook and all that are all going with the flow in name of security.

Same shit as 9-11 and patriot act. That NZ terrorist definitely did his homework and basically like Osama and al Qaeda, they won when we give up our freedoms for security. But it seems like public acceptance is moving towards censorship and "security" rather than protecting undesirable free speech, or rather just free speech since that's what free speech means.

How aren't we sliding more and more towards censorship and mass surveillance "china style"?

What happened to freedom of speech we all loved so much?

Is free speech more important than security? Is ability to do propaganda more important than security? There's no easy answers and we all have to draw the line somewhere.

But the fact of the matter is we aren't even having this Conversation and our politicians and companies are just doing knee jerk censorship and normalising mass surveillance and censorship without any input from the people who elected them

https://www.extremetech.com/internet...ure-encryption

How is this different from china? Did our gov ask us before they spied on all of us and record all our shit? They are banning encryption and making it illegal in Aus, how is this diff from china arresting you if you use VPN to get around their laws/rules? You think if majority of us were against this(and we are), the gov would care and stop doing it? Lol.

https://www.bbc.com/news/amp/world-australia-46463029

Bbc seems to think it's "different from the same laws in china/Russia/turkey", but of course they would, they are gov funded and U.K. Gov would also love to do this shit if they aren't already(behind the scenes, they would live to do it with full weight of law behind them though). Explain to me how the law is different though, rather than just saying "our gov is good so we can do it but china is bad so they are diff when they do it"?

Seems like we in the west have all resigned ourselves to our fates, no one seems to care about mass surveillance or censorship of undesirables. But when you become the undesirable, that's gonna be too late already.

WCR Bookclub

Haven't hit the "new thread" button in a loooong time.

We were having some very thoughtful discussion in another thread with some of our brightest posters, and we all collectively decided that we ought to have a WCR Bookclub. So here she is. We can start taking a stab at getting a list going, picking a book, and then rolling out. From our huge sample size of 3, it looks like people are interested in literary classics and sci-fi. I know we have a couple of guys here who are interested in history and politcal economy (myself included) who also post frequently in the "What are you reading?" thread, so maybe we will get more turnout if we include some of those in the list too. Same goes for psychology/self-help flavored books, I have seen a few of you post suggestions for some of those as well, like that book by JP.

nShade suggested To Kill A Mockingbird, and I think it's a good first choice to get the ball rolling and see if people will even stick with this. Easy pick, but it also might potentially bore a few who would have preferred to start with another book. So the floor is open. Out of my own self-interest, I'd suggest The Trial by Franz Kafka, mostly because I just started reading it about a week back, and it fits in well as a "must-read," and it isn't that long of a commitment. I've also always been interested in soviet history, so something like a biography or a well-cited historical narrative would be really cool here too, but I need to do some more homework for actual titles.

After we can agree on a book, I guess we can just start posting and discussing our take-aways from sections of the book. There are also sources out there that spell out the plot summary, themes, and motifs. These would be good prompt references for overall discussion topics, but I haven't decided if it'd be better to let people post as they please or respond to a discussion topic.

Sexuality in the modern era (sexually explicit warning duh)

Just general thread about sexuality in general and societies changing perspective of it.

I saw this video again(which I saw awhile ago and it autoplayed from another vid I watched and left it on), and reminded me of lambtron coming out as bi, along with mayor Pete coming out and running, might be a good time to have this discussion since everyone and society seems to be more open/receptive etc now.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=06M9wBX4chQ

But yeah. Imagine living in Thailand, where there's a shit load of ladyboys(male to female trans)? And going to clubs or using online dating like tinder or other shit and they don't straight up tell you they are trans? You have a few drinks and some hot ladyboy in the dark starts grinding on you, and then you start making out while dancing..

Does this make you bi or gay?

Ok another scenario. What if you found yourself emotionally attracted to post OP male to female trans/ladyboy? Like just say you didn't know and then found yourself attracted? Like you guys chatted online and really got along and clicked, and they were also a 9/10 in looks n shit from their pic or Skype. And for hypothetical sake, just say they had surgery and had tits and also vag(dunno how it works but I assume it's like real vag but they just can't get pregnant?). Just say you also couldn't tell any diff from voice, they could pass as a deep voice girl. And just say they had no Adam's apple(dunno if this is possible in reality but for argument sake say they didn't have one or you can't see it).

So yeah you're chatting and like them physically and emotionally/personality wise. Then after you meet, and just before you stick your dick in her vag, she tells you she's a post OP male to female trans.

Now my questions. Yes there's a lot. Answer whatever you want or find interesting or comfortable enough to share or talk about with us. Don't worry we won't judge. Or at least I won't. And this works BOTH WAYS. Don't be afraid to say you think it's gay, that in itself is NOT homophobic discrimination, people are still allowed to talk and we still have freedom of speech and we haven't moved into thoughtcrime territory yet.

I just hope mods won't dissuade discussion, since getting such feelings in the open and talking about it "with the other side" is the best way to resolve such conflicts and move forward in a way that's acceptable to everyone. We're all humans in the end. Ignoring/censoring it and running away doesn't help anyone, especially in the real world.

If anything it will make it worse, like how the church enforces celibacy and never talks about it and makes everyone feel shamed of their sexuality.. or how some govs censor even artistic depictions of pedophilia, like banning hentai with young looking characters. Let them beat off to cartoons, it will help them get it out so they dont need to rape IRL. Same as how we don't ban porn, that probably allows heaps of would be rapists who can't get any to enact their rape fantasies with consensual rape pr0n.

This is just text. Course no personal attacks for anyone sharing their opinion though, even if their opinion isn't pro LGBTQ. People are still allowed to have their views, no matter how racist or fucked up others may think it is. Just don't do personal attacks and it should be fine.

1. Are you already gay or bi at this point even if you don't continue? You've already made out and grabbed her fake tits etc, maybe even rubbed her fake vag. Whatever, you get the point. Are you gay/bi? If no, are you gay or bi if you continue to make out and grab tits or let them toss you off as they were originally doing before you found out? lol.

If no to the first question(1.), just say you do hit it. are you gay or bi now?

2. Does being gay or bi need feelings or emotional connection? Just say she was 9/10 and you only hit it and didn't care to have relationship. Is that allowed or does that make you gay/bi?

Considering that guys are all into anal sex with females and eating ass n shit and thats still considered straight or even manly/hetero/alpha as fuck(correct me if I'm wrong), along with flat/ugly females getting surgery/boobjobs etc, I don't even see what the real distinctions are anymore and why we should even care if it's ladyboy or why they should be morally obligated to tell you/us as long as they had a vag.

While we're on the topic of anal. I've never tried it but am curious, as in scientifically curious lol. And I won't lie, if a girl asked, I'd try it. But I am not really froffing at the mouth to try it. Also just curious but what are pros policies on anal in general? I've never been to a hooker before so I dunno. But yeah. Anyone here tried anal? With female or male? Is it that common now? How do you approach that topic? Or you just stuck it in and didn't get any defence to your attempts? lol. Do women or men even really enjoy that shit? Like i heard the ass has erogenous zones but I've never had any urge to rub my ass or stick a finger in, jacking it is enough for me. I sold don't have any urge whatsoever to eat ass. Even eating pussy is not funtimes for me, it's more done just to get head in return and not be selfish lol. Am I just a boring guy or what? I'd like to hear of any other personal stories or fetishs you guys are willing to share.

As for the kids thing, they can just lie and say down the line that they just can't or don't want to have kids. Lots of females can't or don't want kids too, same shit.

Like if we think it's low to hide the fact that they had surgery and were attracted to post surgery individual, would you also think the same about a female who had boobjob and plastic surgery on her face?

Like just say before surgery the 9/10 girl you were trying to hit was an ugly as fuck Gargamel looking bitch who for all intents and purposes looked like a man, and was flat like a man. But after similar surgery as male to female trans; they are now also a 9/10 like the trans hypothetical I mentioned above.

Would you feel like you were morally cheated if the girl didn't tell you they had surgery before you hit it? Would you, or should we even care? why/why not?

Now ask the same questions but for post OP ladyboys/male to female trans. Would you feel cheated or morally wronged in both above examples(ugly/flat girl getting surgery and not telling you + post OP ladyboy not telling you)? If yes, why? Because society tells you?

If no one knew in the end; like you hit it and no one would ever find out, would you even care? Or you would only care if people knew because they would give you shit and call you gay or bi etc? In such a situation, would you even WANT TO KNOW? Like if you were that insecure, wouldn't it be better if the ladyboy kept quiet and you walk away the next day having thought you just scored with a 9/10? Lol

Imo everyone's bi to a certain extent. In this day and age of miraculous surgery where you can't even tell anymore, I don't think labels are even that useful anymore. Only useful in terms of having kids naturally, that's all.

If we're just talking about not having kids and only having sexual relations or emotional relations, as long as you find them sexually/emotionally attractive, I don't think it should matter.

But of course religious fucks would disagree. I'm curious to see what you guys all think on this issue in this day and age. It's quite surprising how open and accepting Thailand is with lady its since Asia is pretty LGBTphobic in general. But even that is probably a new thing, since I remember back in the days in ancient china they used to have the most feminine guys, and eunuchs and all that shit. Probably similar to Ancient Greece and Rome, where pedophilia was the norm.

Wasn't that also the same for Middle East? Wasn't Mohammed also a pedophile? Perhaps we aren't as progressive/enlightened as we think we are, back in the day they seemed pretty progressive sexually.

Also curious as to what perceptions are in Europe, since sex or at least nudity seems more open and accepted there.

Hmm, Ancient Greece was before Jesus and Bible n shit yeh? So the west turned into prudes after introduction of Christianity n Catholic Church right? But yet look where they themselves ended up haha.

Ancient Egypt also seemed to have pedophiles n shit iirc? Soon as they bled they were a woman already, and even got married n shit. They were engaged from even Greek that afaik.

Discuss.

Us china trade war and USA vs Huawei

Just curious what you all think and if anyone thinks USA has the moral high ground and isn't acting like some gangster thug? Resorting to kidnapping and executive order bans, what happened to rule of law or democracy?

Ill post more later but that video has pretty much all you need to know about the Huawei ban and how bullshit it is.

Check out the interview with Huaweis founder, and this is after they've kidnapped his daughter and kept as hostage and being blackballed from all USA companies both hardware and software(on top of the already existing blackball from carriers and main shop/suppliers in USA, which is against based on nothing but them being Chinese company).. all class and vision. Reminds me of like Steve jobs n Apple early days. They are gonna be just fine with such a leader. He doesn't even blame google or us companies but thanks them.

Compare his leadership and vision, with trumps and USA.

It's not even a competition..

This is only gonna make Chinese modernise even faster than "made in china 2025".

Us is shooting itself in the foot, all companies will be wary of being reliant on us software/hardware/technology now.

The funniest thing is if china is security threat then why not ban Apple from manufacturing in china too? Why not ban all USA company from operating in china since they are under Chinese government and Chinese laws too?

USA spies on the whole world and gets busted. "China is the spy and security threat!"

USA gov forces all USA companies to ban Huawei for no reason. "Huawei is too close to Chinese gov!"

What hilarious hypocrisy. They aren't even trying anymore.

New PC / Laptop

Hi all,

In the last 5 years I have rarely used a computer outside of my work laptop. I would like to get either a PC or laptop for gaming / video / internet / office. I am not even sure what I would like to run on it. Honestly at this point, the only things that come to mind are Fortnite and WC3 / Reforged, but I would like some capacity for playing higher demand games that may come out.

I am really out of the loop and don't know where to start / where to look. I am not really on a tight budget, but concerned about value. I would like the computer to be fast and play things on the higest settings, but I am not even sure what that means. I probably don't want to spend an extra $5,000 to go from high to ultra or something like that, but yeah, I have no idea what to expect.

When I say fast, I don't mean industrial grade as I am talking about games, an occassional big spreadsheet, lots of tabs on Chrome, maybe one day an accounting software like Quickbooks, not running a bank.

Looking for info on monitors too.

So yeah, I will be Googling up, but you have shown to be pretty solid on computer advice in the past. Thanks!

Hi all... I'm an ancient shoutcaster/audio replay guy from way back (I'm talking quit playing War3 in 2010) and just randomly decided to see if the site was still going.

Great to see there's still a community still going here! I'm sure there probably aren't many familiar faces left from my day haha

Hong Kong protests

I was gonna post this in my other thread but this should have a thread of its own since it's most likely gonna be a re occurring and long term thing.

https://www.scmp.com/news/hong-kong/...sive-substance

Cops raided a house and found molotovs and other shit. Cops have already been attacked with chemical substance which hospitalised 12 iirc. Hk seems like it's in chaos. I feel sorry for them since they are just lashing out due to economical problems, but there's nothing they can really do. Just like USA, mainland China's rise will mean china eats some of their cake. That's just inevitable reality. Hk lost its spot as entry port into china and the world doesn't need hk anymore when shanghai will do just fine.

All these protests and chaos just make things worse for hk. Business and capital will leave after as this keeps going on, then it will be even worse for them. Then they will go crying back to the gov of hk and china to help them after vandalising the legislative building and draping British flag there.

Good to see not all hk are traitorous cucks who want to be British.

1-300,000 people turned out to protest in support of gov/police and china.

Lol just listen to how bbc report it. Clearly biased, no wonder they get called fake news to their face.

I still remember how the British handled riots and hk protests.

Fortnite World Cup

So, the Fornite world cup is this weekend. I think maybe it is a world record prize pool, at $30 million. Today is duos, tomorrow is solos.

Even if you don't play Fortnite, I highly recommend watching a game or two. Watching a late game is just insane. It's almost like the first time you watched a VOD of Starcraft or Warcraft 3 and you realized how the game was supposed to be played with 200+ APM. To me, it's a very deep game strategically, tactically, and mechanically.

So, anyone else watching?
